Team 2012 -
TAAF Region VII
Runner-Up
The MA Hoopsters 2012
boys team competed in
the Region VII TAAF
tournament this past
weekend. They handily
put away their first
opponent by 20+ and
ended up in the
championship game with
Top Achievers United
Ballers. United Ballers
put 5 nice sized young
men on the floor but
were quickly down by 9
from Team 2012's quick
boys. Both teams
settled end for what
would be a long hard
fight on the basketball
court. Chris
Burns lead the
Hoopsters with
14 points and 16
rebounds. This
was followed by
Jordan Taulton
and Dalvon
McDaniel; both
with 8 points.
Everybody contributed on
the defensive end but at
the end of the day, the
United Ballers ended up
on top and the champions
of the tournament. We
congratulate the boys on
their 2nd place finish
and wish them well as
they prepare to travel
to Austin in two weeks
for the State
Tournament.
